About this piece

This hoop was created with inspiration from the textured surface of driftwood.

Over time, driftwood travels through many places, worn down, shaped, and marked, sometimes hurting and sometimes being hurt, while carrying all of those experiences within it as it transforms into its next form.

The traces left behind by surrendering to the flow become individuality, creating expressions that are never the same.

This piece reflects the beauty of a life that continues its journey while gently embracing one’s true self.
